P and T looking forward to freezing more food in 2008.Happy New Year! To ring in 2008, we went over to Magnus and Johanna's for a par-tay. Good people, good food and good times! (ask Magnus about his bacon wrapped dates!) Not to mention there was some wicked guitar playing going on. Yes, virtual guitar playing via Guitar Hero, not sitting around the campfire singing John Denver songs, guitar playing. Mattias, you are my Guitar Hero!

Then, we went for a walk across town to have a glass of champagne with Papa Kaj and Anneke. (Note to self: 3" heels and cobblestone streets - not a good combination!) The walk was quite refreshing, and we could see plenty of fireworks. They actually sell fireworks here in the grocery stores!

It is tradition in Sweden to bring in the New Year by listening to a reading of Nyårsklockan, which is Lord Tennyson's poem no. 106 translated into Swedish. Ring klocka, Ring!

Looks like you guys had a great time! Looking forward to celebrating some more when you get back to the states. And BTW, you guys look so refreshed, happy and relaxed!!!! So nice to see!
