It was time for my first ride in Big Blue (finally!) We took a ride over to Rodeo Beach to watch the sunset which we have threatened to make a weekly tradition on Sundays, but it just has not happened. It didn't quite seem right without EP there as I embarked upon my personal maiden voyage, but I think she will be okay with it since she is busy touring French wine country! Beautiful sunset, good beer, and fantastic company. What a great way to end the week.
Until next time....

Ouch…shave the beard…pull the pins…that young man has much pain in front of him. Hang in there Brett.
OK, now I see that I need to get togther my photos of BigBlu's first 40 years as well as some stories from fellow travellers in the bus. I'm on it now!
I used to live in BigBlu around 1978-79. My dog and I often slept over at Half Moon Bay. No one bothered us and then we would head back to Palo Alto to work and shower at a friend's house. That dog was a good traveller since we'd often just stay in the bus wherever the evening ended. Ever heard of a bar called Ethen's in Palo Alto??
Good stuff Monty! I am going to have to check out Ethen's next time I am down in P.A. Big Blue is a good soul and makes me feel nostalgic for summers spent in a '72 Westie in Colorado on the Arkansas River. I love reading about the history of Big Blue Keep the stories coming! Cheers!
